    Any questions?

    Although there are a multitude of quads that are willing to answer questions, all of whom have wonderful blogs, I thought I would provide a space for people to ask questions. I am not afraid to answer any question and if you think it is too personal, you can always e-mail me. Hopefully I would hear from you and be able to give you even more insight into what it's like to be a ball of Dynamo from the neck up, but inert and below the collarbone.

    Believe it or not, the little thing in the bottom right-hand corner of my icon is the mouth of an alligator.  I thought it was so apropos of the area in which I live.

    Billy, what is the little thing at the bottom right in your 'Quadius' triangle in your profile picture?  It looks like the back end of a dog running in front of the chair, or the head of a snapping crocodile.....?

    Oh my heck, you made me laugh so hard.  It was in the middle of the night when I read your comment and I laughed so loud, (not on purpose, of course) I woke up my husband.  I loved what you said about asking me anything, and then mentioning the PG restriction.  You CAN ask me anything, but I might not be able to answer it.  Hee hee hee.  I stick to PG stuff because I have PTSD, and sometimes things will trigger a memory inside that I really don't want to remember.  But I would try to answer any question you have for me honestly.  I appreciated your answer.  It was such a shock that a simple bike ride could change your life so dramatically.  But I don't feel sorry for you.  I really like you!  You have such a great sense of humor.  You are a very good person, very candid, very honest, very real.  I am really looking forward to going back to your older blogs so I can get to know you better.

    I was injured in a bicycle accident.  Yes that's right, a bicycle and not a motorcycle.  It simply flipped over the top and landed on my head in an awkward manner.  One of these days I am going to write about how the accident transpired, but it was relatively innocuous, or at least I thought I was going to be.  Just goes to show you that even a simple thing like falling off a bicycle can cause unbelievable damage.

    I did write a response to G on her website, but I thought I would leave one here in case someone else has a question about voice activation.

    Yes I use voice-activated software almost exclusively for my dictation all needs. I used to use it for virtually everything, but I found it much more effective to supplement the software with a mouth stick, small keyboard, and a readily accessible trackball.

    If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to ask.

    Hello, I found your blog while I was at SkRuMshZ's blog.  I was wondering how you had your accident.  I am assuming it was while you were in the Army, after looking at your pictures.  I have read a few of your blogs and like you already!  So I just wanted to find out more about you, only because I care.  You can ask me anything you want to, as long as it is rated PG.

    not really any questions...i know most of the answers from my buddy...but do you ever have the sensation of walking...he says that he still does...he has only been a quad for 3 years...but says that everyonce in a while he goes to get out of his chair...like he can...well he is starting to be able too...he did the electro-shock therapy thingy...he can move most of his arms now...and a bit of his left leg...don't know why he is still classified as a quad...but he is...anyway...have a great weekend... 
     
    :o) smiles easy to give away they are free... :o) very contagious... :o) so pass one to anyone ... :o) to people that you love... :o) and even to those you don't... :o) in no time the whole world will be smiling :o)
